DROPS Alpaca is a beautiful yarn spun in 100% "superfine" alpaca. Alpaca fiber is untreated, which means it has only been washed and has not been subjected to chemical treatment before dyeing. This reinforces the finest qualities of wool, and at the same time a better quality of shape and texture is obtained.
 It is a 3-ply quality with an extra twist to give a tough surface. It is available in many colors, from the most vibrant to the most sober, solid, natural and mixed shades. These are made by carding the colors together before spinning, which gives this "mix" effect. Garments made with this yarn are light and comfortable, super soft directly on the skin and have a characteristic and lovely glow.
