Alpaca Royal is the perfect combination of luxury, nature and sustainability. It is a wonderfully soft, delicate and resistant yarn in pure alpaca wool. Listed as Superfine / Fingering weight yarn, Alpaca Royal is incredibly light and soft.

The term "Royal" is used to describe alpaca fiber which has a diameter of less than 19.5 microns. Only the best young white alpacas found in the Andean highlands of Peru have such fine hair. In order to be able to offer the beautiful range of natural colors of our palette, we have made a mixture of royal white alpaca fiber with 20% soft baby alpaca.

This 2-ply yarn, spun in Peru, is fine and similar to cashmere. Its lightness and generous length make Alpaca Royal a generous yield. A sweater will take a little over 250 grams. It is ideal for light and warm tops. It is also perfect for accessories like scarves or shawls. It has excellent heat regulating properties and is extremely gentle on the skin. Because alpaca contains very little lanolin, it is perfect for people with the most sensitive skin.

Origin: Fiber: alpaca ~ Peru, shot in Peru.
